Daniel Wagner is senior vice president of government relations for The Inland Real Estate Group, LLC. He has been a licensed real estate broker since 2004, holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses and serves on numerous real estate industry and governmental boards and committees.

Dan has been a significant advocate for the preservation of the 1031 Like-Kind Exchange. He has authored several op-ed articles on the topic in national, regional and commercial real estate industry publications.

He was also part of the Real Estate Roundtable’s 1031 Like-Kind Exchange Coalition, which succeeded in protecting the 1031 Like-Kind Exchange during the tax reform of 2018.

Dan is instrumental in connecting with and educating local and national governments, legislative representatives and industry organizations on the broad economic and environmental benefits of 1031 Like-Kind Exchanges.
